Terra Art & Frame has been framing children’s artwork from Mesnier Elementary School for almost a decade. Each year the art teacher and principal select works of student art both 2-D paintings to 3-D collages. Acid-free mats and foam board protect and enhance each child’s artwork. The result...a beautiful and “professional” looking piece of artwork that the whole school community can enjoy.

    When we asked Principal Diane Renda why Mesnier has invested in framing, her answer was simple; “It makes the children feel proud of their school. Kids from the high school come back to see their art”. Their school pride continues. Art teacher, Chris Perko, thinks the annual framing program is a huge asset to the school. “It makes the school inviting”, stated Perko. “The kids are super excited to see their work. Its an honor for them”. Parent Beth Mohr totally agrees. Having the school walls filled with framed artwork that the kids created, “...makes kids feel special and helps with their self-esteem”.
